Jaques Travel · Slow routes
Three ways to
take the valley slow.
Mostar rewards unhurried travel. Each of these routes keeps drive times short and mornings free — built around light, food, and long coffees rather than checklists.

The Stone & Water Loop
Stari Most at dawn, Kujundziluk's copper lanes mid-morning, and a riverside lunch below the arch. Afternoons swim in the Neretva; evenings belong to the mosque courtyard as the minarets catch the last light. The classic, done properly.

The Herzegovina Inland
Out through the karst to Blagaj's tekke under the cliff, the cold spring at Vrelo Bune, then the pilgrimage village of Međugorje if it calls you. Počitelj's stepped Ottoman town on the way back — climb the tower before the tour buses arrive.

The Full Valley Line
Sarajevo first — coffee culture, the war photo archive, the Latin Bridge — then the slow train down the Neretva canyon to Mostar. Finish with two unplanned days: no bookings, just the bazaar, the river, and whatever café claims you.
